One of our favorite places to go to enjoy the gorgeous landscapes Brentwood has to offer is at the Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary. Here you can explore the outdoors in a truly special way and see the more than 2,000 species of local flora and fauna that grow in the entirety of this 300-acre nature sanctuary. This is a wonderful place for everyone in the family to learn more about the diverse wildlife and plant life that grow in the beautiful nature of Brentwood. Hike several trails, take a guided tour, or even consider planning a trip to one of Owl Hill’s special events like Dinner in the Forest or Beer Quest for some real adult fun.
We are so happy to be able to spend regular visits at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library - an internationally-recognized library in Brentwood best known for its truly magical children’s library. You’ll really feel like you’re getting lost in a fairy tale when you stroll through the children’s section with your kiddos. Did we mention that you can even check out artwork to display in your home? The John P. Holt Brentwood Library is the perfect place to spend a rainy day with the whole family and get lost in the spectacular interior and a good book.
We truly love supporting our fellow locally-owned Brentwood businesses, and one of our favorite places to go for an authentic Southern meal and a historic Brentwood experience is at Mere Bulles: a new-old Southern Dining experience. You’ll enjoy upscale Southern cuisine in a historic setting at Maryland Manor, a historic plantation-style farmhouse and former estate home in Brentwood. We love to indulge in their Signature Crab Cakes or a hefty Prime Rib, and we can’t get enough of the Shrimp & Grits.
